Lincoln School
Abraham Lincoln Elementary School was completed in 1924, the second of Mt. Lebanon's current elementary schools--the others being Geroge Washington (1921), Julia Ward Howe (1928), Edwin Markham (1928), Stephen C. Foster (1940), Thomas Jefferson (1950) and Herbert Hoover (1963, after our elementary school tenure). Lincoln stands on 3.5 acres on Ralston Place. During our tenure Lincoln served grades K-6. Lincoln was renovated in 2004 at a cost of $7 million and now serves grades K-5.
We start with Kindergarten and go to 1st, 2nd, then 5th and 6th. Anyone with 3rd and 4th out there will round off Lincoln for the archives.
