DR. DAVID A. GOSNELL         April 29, 1947      ---      January 22, 2022

On Saturday, January 8, 2022, Dr. David A. Gosnell passed away at the age of 74.   The cause of death was Lewy Body Dementia. Dr. Gosnell is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Dr. Kathleen Gosnell and their much loved children, Heather (Gosnell) Carney and Devin Gosnell. He was grateful for both his son and daughter-in-law, Patrick Carney and Jeree Schwass Gosnell. He adored his grandchildren, Katie and Sean Carney along with Delaney, Flynn, and Liam Gosnell. David was the son of Dr. Albert and Eileen Gosnell. He was the brother of Tom Gosnell, the late Nancy Romenalla, Sally Paoletti, and Amy Bachman. David grew up in Mt. Lebanon and graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1965. After college, David served six years in the US Navy. He was a graduate of The Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. David loved taking care of his patients and making them smile. Some of David's favorite times were spent with family at Deer Valley YMCA. He was an excellent bowler, gardener, and photographer. He spent many summer vacations in the craft shop at Deer Valley YMCA Camp painting and creating art with friends and family. Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of life ceremony at Bado's, 307 Beverly Rd., Mt. Lebanon 15216 on Friday, March 11, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in David's name to Deer Valley YMCA Camp, 254 Deer Valley Dr., Fort Hill, PA 15540.
