Jimmy was impossible not to like. A compendium of r&b knowledge, gregarious, sweet, funny, easy to be with. I believe he had a heart transplant, maybe 20 or more years ago? I found myself drawn to him, and never walked away not feeling good, or better.

Rest In Peace Mete man. There were always more laughs when you were hanging out with the guys. Those 3 baseball championships you won with Mt Lebanon little league and pony league were some of your best accomplishments. I'm betting you and Porky and playing some oldies together. LYM.

Jim was a hard worker—always had a job in high school. I think I remember him selling newspapers on the street downtown, something today's kids could not imagine! In more recent years, I sometimes would run into him at Lebanon Shops, and he was always cheerful and friendly. My condolences to his wife and family.

It's been awhile since I last saw Mete Man, but he never changed. Always loved joking with him and he would laugh sso hard he would cry. His love of sports and music was amazing. He could tell you who played for who and who sang any song that as ever on the charts. Jimmy will be missed by his family the most and his friends, of which there are many. Love you Merte Man.
