I have such fond memories of Jean helping me with my new baby at St. Clair hospital when I had my daughter, Jamie, in 1969.  She was wonderful teaching all the new mothers the things we needed to learn about our babies.  Jean showed me how to bathe Jamie and change her and then she helped me get her ready to take her home.  I will never forget how caring and sweet she was, plus knowing her from school made it that more special.

The passing of Jean saddens me greatly.  She was a joy to know.  I moved away after graduation and lost touch with Jean and most of the people I knew in Mt. Lebanon.  I had the good fortune to see Jean a couple of times when visiting my sister in Friendship Village the last couple of years.  My condolences to Jean's family.  I will remember her in my prayers.

I have known Jeannie (and all the McMillans) practically since I was born.  I know Jean left a big impression on all who knew her. She was fun, funny, upbeat and kind.  In addition to being well-liked by her classmates, I know she was celebrated by the families who were lucky enough to have her care for their babies in the St. Clair Hospital Nursery. Jean  always had a fun story to tell, never said a bad word about anyone (that I ever heard) and was so very proud of her brothers, sister and their families.  Rest in peace, Jean.  You were a special gift to your friends and family.
