Chris Comstock was my wife's neighbor growing up on Overlook Drive in Mt. Lebo. Chris died very young (around '69 or '70) of Hodgkins disease. She was home from college for Thanksgiving when she was diagnosed and went downhill quickly. My wife has told me many stories of her brothers and sisters, and Chris' and her sister, Patsy, growing up together and putting on plays in the summertime! She was great lady and was taken from us way too young!
Chris passed away March of 1968. We went to Bowling Green together, and I had hoped she would be maid of honor at my wedding. I was married on March 2,1968, and Chris passed away 5 days later. She had Hodgkins disease, which was diagnosed in 1966 on our first break from college our freshman year. My son Christopher born in 1972 is named after her. She was an incredible person who left us way too soon!
