School Story:

I got lost in second grade when invited home for lunch by a classmate; her mother turned me away, and I had no idea how to get back to school. I wandered around and finally saw the policeman at the crossing in front of the school. So relieved! I ran home. My mother brought me back to school, and was justifiably angry with the mother who had turned me away.

Mrs. Amos, third grade, was the first teacher I had who made me love school. She was so kind.

Hi Robert - my sister is in one of your class photos: 57-58, last one on the right in the top row, Margaret Case. My brother and I also attended at that time; I was in first grade, and my brother David was in second. We moved away the summer of 1960. - Patty (Case) Roberts
